General
This curb is a much need addition to prevent parents and visitors from parking in this No Stopping Zone Please contact me before the installation/survey of this curb so as not to interfere with my drive way access. My property 104 Middle Bench Rd S. Also care needs to be taken with possible root damage to the trees in front of my property. Designated Heritage Trees, Number 12 of Appendix A of Bylaw NO. 2001-26 "Tree Protection Bylaw" . Thank you very much. I have lived at this address for over 20 years, and have worked with the city helping to implement some of the current roadway safety features with the City (Mitch and Ian), and could give more observation experience, if you would like. Thank you.

Suggestion
Hurray! Finally addressed the situation the correct way. By using the City ROW on the school grounds, as this layout follows planning practice of continuation of sidewalk on same street side. This was suggested to and with, Ian and Mitch and myself (former city planner) years ago. I have lived across from Uplands for 20 plus years, and safety measures have been increasingly implemented and this plan is much needed as it addresses the extremely dangerous practices by parents and visitors to the school and gives the extra parking to eliminate (some) of the jay-walking, U-turns and walking kids on the road beside the fence. Another suggestion is to ad a designated (painted) cross walk at the north end of this sidewalk, as parents park on the east side for a long distance, this will give them a safe early crossing from the north side of Middle Bench Rd. Thanks again.
